Jaime Gonzales-Bendiksen is a Partner with Baker & McKenzie in Mexico who specializes in international taxation issues. He is also a member of the International Fiscal Association, where he was president of the Colombia chapter, wrote a national report on Tax Treatment of Computer Software, and was a member of the discussion panels at the annual congresses of Amsterdam (1988) and Delhi (1997). As an advisor to multinational corporations, he has extensive experience in the areas of international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, permanent establishments, trans-border transactions, intercompany pricing, taxation of nonresident entities and individuals, corporate taxation, assets taxes, and VAT.
